Hello guys. Wondering if any awd m37/56 owners are running 20x10.5 square setup fine ? If so what are your tire & offset size. I'm shopping for rims and def rather just run square setup instead of having to play with staggered on my awd.

I was just looking at 10.5's and it likely won't work in the front. I settled for 20x9.

Yeah I was guessing that. Guess I will try 20x10.

You can probably run 20x10.5 square if you have the right offset. Here are a set of incurves in the 20x10.5 option. Concave on all corners. Sorry for the small pic but that's what I could find.

Interesting...Incurve (the wheels I just paid for) told me I couldn't do a square 10.5 setup on the M. The guy had a G37s so he knows Infinitis. The ones he was selling were 20x10.5 +45. I ended up buying the 20x9 +35 square set. He's going to ship them Monday...let me know if I need to change my order! lol
Joseph from Incurve wrote:Now, the bad news...you drive an M, there's no way you are getting a 10.5 all around on that car without serious work, like a widebody. You have to run staggered on that car, or 9" all around. Some companies make 10" cast wheels, you MAY be able to fit a 10" all around, but I couldn't guarantee that...they'd have to advise.

I agree that I think the 10.5 will likely be an issue up front.

The only way to really know would be to try it, I know easier said than done.

It would probably require a little fender pulling and possibly some negative camber but anything is possible :)

Holy Mary! I was just looking at that same website! Mt mate has an E-class coupe and black wheels that look brilliant - they are Incurve MBS10's. And the website says they are available in 19 x 8.5. I have moved that set to my 'cool wall' and am seriously considering giving them a ring to see if they will fit my M35.

lol @ cool wall. I like the Top Gear reference.

My IC-S10's should be here by Tuesday, Incurve says.

I completely missed the quote from the guy from Incurve. Widebody?? That's a little ridiculous. A little fender pull and negative camber would be fine. Again, it really depends on the offset. Install and drivability would not be negatively impacted if you do things right.

The offsets from the G coupe to the M are pretty similar believe it or not. I test fitted 19x9+23 and 19X10 +40 on my M (that I had on my G) and fitment was pretty spot on. 19 inch wheels are a little small on the M so I decided to sell the wheels instead of keeping them. 10.5 up front is not that crazy. It's aggressive but totally doable. If a G coupe can pull it off, an M can as well.

I'm wondering what size tires you are planning to use? According to the wheel / tire gizmo that compares sizes, I can go with 255/35s on 20 X 9 inch wheels with very little change in ride height (l0.3 inches higher), and fill out the wheel well by an additional 0.7 inches. My concern is potholes with such a small sidewall.

So do you recommend I get the 10.5's and have a friend roll my fenders? Problem is he lives an hour away...will this be drivable right away or will I not be able to move the car? lol. How do I know how much negative camber I'll need? He's shipping Monday...so I can probably have him change the wheels without issue.

The rear will be totally fine? Or will I need to roll those/negative camber as well.

I was planning 245/40/20. I don't really care about the height/sidewall as much as I do about the speedometer lol. However, a 275/35/20 tire might be too much for me...the ride might suck at that point. :gapteeth:

There's no wait period needed when rolling your fenders.
I highly highly doubt you'd need to roll the rear fenders, if anything dial in some camber.

Are you saying you're planning on running a 245 on a 10.5" rim?

No. 245 on a 9" rim, 275 on a 10.5" rim.

I think I'm going to stay with the 9"...other ones are too low profile and also a bit more expensive tires.

Yeah probably best to stay with the 9. I dont think 10.5 would work in the front with that offset.

Just in case anyone is interested in knowing, a 20X10.5 +45 will not fit the front, tried it on my car.

Just wanted you all to know I'm not crazy! Last post. On a G37 sedan, whose offset is much more conservative than the coupe. If the sedan can do it, I would think the M can as well :)

Some nice cars in that thread. I need to repurchase some camera gear to take nice shots (sold my professional wedding gear to buy my motorcycle after I closed up shop lol).

20x9 +35, according to a site mentioned before, compared to the 19x8.5 +45 wheels I currently have on the car is the equivalent of putting on 10mm spacers (which is what most people said I needed on my 2007 to make them flush). I actually think these 20's are going to fit quite nicely once the car is lowered.
