So I had a Koyo R1276 on my old setup that was in the crash. I thought that I would take a shot and bought a CX Racing radiator off eBay for $180 shipped. Overall, it is an aluminum radiator, and that is about all that can be said for it. The core is about 1/2" too large for the end tanks, so there is a slight bow at the ends (last 2 tubes on each side have a bow to them).

The welds are not pretty, but they do the job.

The drain c*** is pretty nice. I can't tell you how many stock and Dorman plastic ones I have broken.

The money shot.

All in all, it was worth the money. The Koyo and other high dollar units have thinner wall aluminum, more vanes and lighter end tanks. And cost upwards of $300 or more. Not a bad little investment as summer approaches.

I did not check the threads. The plug is standard from CX and comes with a rubber o-ring. No leaks yet.

the plug is the same diameter as the stock drain plug. i'll see if i can find a plug for it and get back to you.

It would'nt matter if it is NPT and has taper threads to seal if it's O-ringed. Thanks for answering my question.
