My interior has seen better days. Its rather rare as only cars made within a 6 month time span have it (0792-0293). Now I have delayed doing anything till I refreshed my car mechanically. Now all I have left is tires maybe shocks Not sure if they are leaking but they have 56K miles on them. And I get a code for Knock Sensors so I may have to go under the plenum.

Anyways I need advice on who is the best at a decent price for reupholstering interiors?

The dealer at the best price I can find wants $900 for each seat pad. And a local shop told me $2000 to do the drivers seat and he said it may not match....fading....

Seems pretty unreasonable for that.. I don't think Dimitri paid anywhere NEAR that when he had his upholstery done..

You might check http://www.katzkin.com/... I've heard some decent things about them. Replacing the seat covers is kind of a pain..

You might also consider not having it done in leather, some of the synthetic leathers can actually be a lot better in terms of durability.

Find yourself a good upholstry shop... the last time I priced this it was something like $500 for new leather on the seat bottoms and armrest. This was at least 13 years ago though. The place I found was in a metal building next to a junk yard in a part of town you don't want to be after sunset - but their work was excellent and they had a whole bunch of high end cars there for work.
