Hi! We just replaced the IAC and ECM in our 1999 Infiniti I30, and now the car won't start, after resetting and clearing the computer. We think it is because of the new computer. Would that affect the security system and keep the car from starting, and is there a way to "flash" or reset the security system without taking the car to a dealership?
Thanks to anyone who can help!

Later models of I30s have NATS (Nissan Antti Theft System). Is the Security lamp on with Ignitionn ON/Start? The NATS Ignition key has a code which is stored in the IMMU (NATS Immobilizer UNit) and ECM. Since you replaced the ECM, then the code no longer match and you cannot start the engine. The car has to be taken to a dealership for re-programming (@$110). Better ask for pricing before you go. Normally, it's cheaper to go to Nissan dealership than Infiniti.
