I changed the cabin filter today, it took 15 minutes.Remove 3 clips from side of glove box. Lift top of clip and pull out, let glove box hang.Remove black cover, pry from left side and pulls down.Remove white cover pry from right side, open and remove.Instructions were in Japanese, buy you don't need them.$80 dollar filter, old one was very dirty, I think it's the original. I just bought the car so I don't know its history.I'm sure this post is way below most people’s ability here, but not much info on cabin filters out there.

bigjimmy,

Looks filthy! Take the VIN # to your nearest Infiniti dealership and have them check the car service history. We have the FSM posted here.By the way mine was as dirty as yours when I replaced it at 60K miles.

About $34 from Joe for the stacked cabin filters on FYG33.

Why all filters should be replaced annually.

Yeah, and all over your interior, especially your lungs. One reason why I say the FYG33 and later are better everyday cars. One look at that filter after a year and you may not be so concerned about how fast you can get to 60 mph.

I still breathe more nasty stuff laying on the floor of the garage under the Q and smoking cigars with my friends. Still young, still timing myself to 60.
