Alternator has no output and is not charging the battery. Has anyone attempted to change one on a Murano? Access is tight. Can't go thru wheel well, and there's no room to get in from the top. Does the front bumper and trim remove easily to a service position, to allow access to the accessories?

start by removing the electric fans, then work through the wheel well after removing the plastic shroud to losen the belt tensioner, belt tensioner must then be removed for access to the long bolt holding the alternator to its bracket. use a peice of card board against your radiator to protect it or just remove the rad altl together, then sneak the alternator across the front of the vehicle below the exhuast manifold then start moving it upwards when you get to the side close to the battery, remove the black fuse box next to the battery for more room. theres a recall out for those alternators check with your local dealer to see if your vehicle is eligable.

Depending on the year of your Murano, the alternator may be a free factory recall problem.
