On a 1993 300ZX twin turbo, how do you remove the interior door panels to get to the door locks? I have to repair the locking device and wanted to know how the panels remove.

it's just a few screws, you can do it with a screw driver. unless you're talking about the metal part inside of the shell, that part i don't know, and i'm curious as well.

most of the panel pops off there is screws by seat belt -door edge-the pull cup ....but i think that you can wiggle the control out with avery small screw driver prying the edge of the control.. if i remember right there is four connecting tabs that lock the plastic to the door....what exactly is wrong with the control and what door are you talking about

It has a few steps on the removal of the door panel. Make sure you also take out the panel with the window controls and unplug the electrical connections.

thanks for that link man, now i can replace my driver side door lock mechanism i'd have to unlock from the passenger side. so when i took the girls out i'd always pretend to be a gentlemen

lol true story, one time i was taking this blonde out to dinner, as i was reaching for the driver side door lock from the inside from the passenger side seat, as i was getting out i notice she was checking out my a** i might just purposely not get that lock fix you know

while you are at it ...you might as well put a seat hydro in so that she gets tossed on your lap at the push of a button

i've actually heard that there is this anti burglar device that you install on the out driver side of your vehicle, it shoots out fire when you push the button
