Unorthodox Racing makes a RB20/25 flywheel.Yes, the 20/25 flywheels do have differences but they have the same critical dimensions

JGYCUSTOMS has the FIdanza one. I bought it and the 300ZX N/A Z32 clutch kit bolt up to it like a dream.

does this mean that ANY n/a Z32 flywheel will work on this motor?

i cant justify spending 300 for a flyhweel when they are 200-250 for a Z32 one..

*edit* my motor is actually waiting on the clutch/flywheel, and then it will go in, so any information is appreciative

can someone get some pics of the RB flywheel (clear) please?

i got some informationFidanza Fylwheels300zx non turbo (90-96) 143001 (11lbs)300ZX turbo (90-96) 143331 (10.5 lbs)

this is off of http://www.jgycustoms.com/RB20DETparts.htm

"Fidanza flywheels. Great quality, Priced to sell at $309, and weighs just 10.34 pounds! On the "will it increase my chance with the ladies, such as Da Brat", we give it an 8"

if anyone can get a model # of the fidanza we can hopefully cross reference it to one of those model#'s, considering fidanza has NO skyline application in their catalog..

i got a couple pics of some flywheels that unorthodox sells

turbo 300ZX flywheel

non turbo 300zx flywheel

if anyone can provide some pics f their RB flywheels in same orientation it might help out a little...

i can possibly obtain a na Z32 flywheel to compare soon, but do not have one availabel at the moment..

It's going to have to be a RB flywheel. Z32 flywheel dosn't fit the RB motors. Just the clutch. And the 20 flywheel fits the 25.

I saw Upgrade Motoring has JUN flywheels. The rb20 and rb26 have the same part number and the price seems ok for a chromoly flywheel. Think it was 400 the the light and 450 for the ultra light.

so if infact, you are both correct. then all RB's share a flywheel. that cannot be.

And do they all have the same critical clutch bolt pattern??

This really doesn't sound right.

I have an RB26 flywheel that I resurfaced when I was bored one day.. I kept it around for no reason. If I can use it that'd be awesome, I was planning on getting a JUN...

NO the Z32 flywheels do NOT bolt to the RB engines.

Okay, this is the RB flywheel from Fidanza. Notice the 6 bolt versus the 8 bolt for the Z32. It also weights 11.2 lbs according to my bathroom scale.

Z32 N/A Clutches fit on the flywheel. (240mm) I know because it's on the car now!

No Z32 N/A or T/T flywheels will work on the RB. Anyone have any problems with this contact me!

This is all confirmed and in my car!

seeing the last post dates on this thread i feel i might be a bit late. I have been playing with RB25DETs a lot at work lately. What i have learned. The fly wheel for the RB25/RB20 has the same diameter and im almost positive the same teeth count and inner bolt pattern (to crank) as a KA24de flywheel, the only difference is that the inner diameter of the crank seat is larger than the KA's if anyone is brave enough, probably me, bore out the diamater to make it fit? The clutch can either be z32 or .. the now more common SR20DET cluthc. If anyone is still looking for a lightweight flywheel, I have recently aquired a Cusco Lightweight flywheel i am selling, Im gonna post on ebay and get some picture up, freshly resurfaced. If anyone wants send me an offer or wait till i get it on ebay. any more questions ask or lets debate this flywheel issue some more, always willing to learn.
