Just installed a AFPR and fuel pressure gauge. When I get the fuel pressure adjusted below 55lbs the gauge needle starts bouncing. Does not make any difference with or without vacuum. I have the gauge installed between the filter and fuel rail. The AFPR is installed on the return line.

Is the needle supposed to bounce? If not, does anyone know what the problem could be?

thanksDanny

my rb26 has a nismo fpr and a b&m fuel psi gaug between the filter and fuel rail and i set my fuel preasure on mine at 44psi and when running it bounces a little bit but thats uasually normal since its a mechanical gauge so i would start out by setting your fuel psi at 44psi and go from there.

weird, i had the same problem with my rb20det and the only way i can get it running nicely is to lean it ryt out. im running a dsr430 and monza fpr and to get rid of the miss the fuel pressure must be around 37psi.it runs good but i am unsure if its safe
