I was just wondering if anyone has any pictures of a 300zx with the Rays Track V.2 wheels. Reason im asking because the pops just said he put some of those on my 300 at home (at school right now, crushing in the vert). Thanks for your guys help, here is a picture of them if it helps.

He works in D.C. so by the time he gets home its dark. But I just ended up doing a crappy photoshop job of what its going to look like. Its basically the same car pearl white with tt spoiler and now the track v2's. I'll be back home for spring break in a week so ill take some pictures of the trio. Here's the picture, remember this car is not mine its just a photoshop.

Thanks Z-owned, really appreciate it. I think it looks pretty good, does anyone think I should sell the V2's and get something else or would I not get much for them. They were free, off of my dads 350. Like I said once i get home ill post some pictures for you guys.

I would keep them personally but if you do decide you don't want them they do catch a good price.

Probably because they are bigger than anniversary wheels and LMGT4s. They are 18x9 and 19x10. I love that kind of setup...

OP... Your dad made a really good buy. You owe him on Father's Day bigtime! lol

hahah yeah i def do need to get him something sweet for his car. We tried to put the V2's on the vert but they rubbed to much so we went back to the M-sports. Hopefully soon i'll be powder coating the M-sports flat black soon. But since all you guys think I should keep them I probably will, also being as Ive never seen a z32 with those same wheels until you guys helped me out. Heres a random picture with the M-sports black just for sh*ts and giggles. Also smoked the turn/fog/headlights and calipers red. What do you guys think?

What size tires you got on there that are rubbing? Stock sizes? Plz tell me you are just holding on to them until you either get different tires or spacers to stop the rubbing...

V2's >>>>> M Sports.

Im not sure what tires are on the v2's because im not home yet, ill check it out saturday. You would think that they would fit, but the 300 vert is lowered and my dad isn't too fond of rolling the fenders and trimming. So he put them on the 2+2 which isnt lowered but hopefully the v2's will fill out the wheel well. Spacers are out of the question too because we had some on the vert before and the vibrations from the front were awful. The 2+2 is going to look siiiiiiickkkkkk

I don't much like spacers either. But more than likely, the tires are rubbing on you inner fender lining because the offset of the front wheel is a little too high 18x9+30 wheel with the stock 245/40/18 rubber. We know the wheels will fit from the pictures. The offset should not require any fender working. So that means you either need different sized rubber (like 245/35/18 maybe) or you need a small spacer to move the wheel outward from the inner fender lining.

But I'm betting that switching to a lower profile tire up front will do the job. This car's fronts are 18x9+32 with 255/35 tires.

So that means, his setup is 2mm closer to his inner fender lining than yours, plus his tires is 10mm wider than yours. You gotta get a little innovative. Switch to a lower profile tire up front. If it still rubs, take a hammer/rubber mallet and bash the spots on the inner fender lining where it's rubbing unitl it is out of the way.

Where theres a will, there is a way! Don't give up on those wheels! I'm a big believer in "If your wheels don't fit... MAKE THEM FIT!". They aren't the boss of you! lol

Question...Would having blown shocks affect the height of the car? Can't remember the last time I replaced them. Because trust me we tried, im pretty sure it was just rubbing on the liner and maybe a little on the corner of the bumper when turning. The back was fine it was the front that was the trouble, so I think it would only be a little trimming.

I suppose that's possible. If there's no pressure left in the shock, then there's nothing to keep the spring from depressing under the weight of the engine. Are you using lowering springs with stock shocks?

I'd switch to a lower profile tire and/or dial in a little negative camber at this point, before I moved to more major fender work like trimming stuff. But thats just me.

Typically if they are blown then it will most definitely affect your ride height.

I have never heard of this, your shocks technically dont support any weight, they only dampen the loading and unloading of the springs so no blown shocks shouldnt, spring sag would though.

I bet it will still rub once you drop it until you get some less tall front tires... Looks good though.

Thanks guys, but yeah probably need low pro's and the back has a little stretch to it so that looks good. Weber3211 that looks awesome, does the paint chip easy? I was thinking about this approach but wasn't quite sure about it, still an option. Last question weber haha, how much did that run you for all four?
