I saw a skyline up for auction somewhere the other day and it was listed for "export only".
yup. its sitting over here in Houston, i know where it is.

i have been talking to the people that run the place there and they said to me that if it was to hit the auction block they would let me know.

ALSO, the gov. legally has to give me notification of any change in the cars status whether i am being denied or granted exporting it myself.

I figure i could just wait until it hits the auction and buy it again, but that would just anger me further.

What auction site did you look at?

Wow. i dont know how furious i would be if i saw my GTR being auctioned off. Mine has been sitting there since March '08.

Customs keeps telling me my case is "pending" and the auction house tells me my car is still there, so i am sleeping ok at night, the best i really can for a situation like this.

Pulling up an old thread, but still..

Yea, exactly, and that's why I spent double the money to get a Motorex car. It's a slim chance that the car would get seized...but it DOES happen.

I figured the extra cost was worth it to makes sure it wouldn't happen.

Still, sucks for you & I'm sorry. Bummer.

Tom, I tried to message you but it appears you are not accepting PM's. Can you contact me? My skylines were seized and if I could get some more information from you it could result in my skylines not being crushed. I only have about 1 week to get some answers and it could save my cars from being crushed. Below are my credentials.

If you are talking about member thomasK(austin) then he has not logged in since June of 2011.

How did they grab your cars?
