Just bought 2010 g37 sedan w/extended warranty. Will I void warranty if I install r2c intakes?

No, the warranty will be fine. The way it works is that if the aftermarket part specifically caused the issue, then the warranty would not be covered for that component. For example, lets say you replace your suspension with aftermarket and after a while it breaks. You can't use the warranty to fix it. Another example is if you install a supercharger and blow your engine...the warranty will not cover a replacement...but if your window motor dies, that is covered.

So if you install the R2C intake and the fan blade comes off damaging it, it will not be covered. But if your timing chain goes and destroys your engine, that would be covered.

Hope this helps!

Infiniti could push back on warranty replacement of a MAF but that's about it....unless it's installed wrong and allowing dirt into the engine.

Otherwise, you are fine.

Also, it's not a bad idea to swap OEM parts back on before driving into the service department. They can only get of paying for the repair if they can blame your aftermarket part, but they can interpret liberally when it comes to saving themselves money. I personally wouldn't take the chance and let them make the decision for me.

But R2C intakes have awesome flow rates/low restriction and filter very well in comparison with the OEM paper filters.

Never had a single comment or question about any of my mods and I've been to two different dealerships.
