I can get these new tail lights for my 1999 Max for a good price because of an unnoticable manufacturers defect... What do yall think?? and if anyone has a picture of their max with similar lights i would much appreciate seeing it so i could maybe give a gander at how it would look on mine.. thanks guys...

My personal opinion....I hate altezza lights. I think the red/clears look the best.

Your car is white right?

...Well...

You could...

Maybe if you...

No, no...you shouldn't put those on your car.

In all seriousness if you MAYBE were going for like...the blacked out look with white paint (I've seen it done well by some) you could paint the chrome black...but by the time you did that you might as well buy the already black.

Yea...don't gett'em...I mean unless you REALLY like them...it is your car.

(Don't worry...if you do like them...you'll grow out of it)

IMO, get red/clears or tint the stock ones.

I never liked the altezzas. I love the led altezza's for 2 reasons...1, because of the led's, and 2, the biggest reason, they don't look huuuge because the gen. II altezzas have a thick black strip around the edge of the taillights. Take a look at my pics on the member's page and look at my taillights. They look unique, but not gaudy in any way, and that's because they don't look bulky like the gen. I altezzas.

Thanks.

On the subject of the tail lights:I'm not a fan. There are some clear/altezza designs that are okay, but most are definitely not my thing. They might look okay if you cracked them open and painted the chrome, or if you tint the lenses.I also find the stepped-looking horizontal lines in those and other 4th gen altezzas to look extremely stupid.

But if you like them, get them. You're the one that gets to drive the car every day.
