Helping out a friend who started losing ATF from his 2005 Quest today, at an alarming rate. We were able to get him home by replacing lots of fluid, limping, more fluid, etc. Deluge rainstorms today, so have not yet been able to get the car on a lift and really inspect...
To start, is there a _really_ clear layout of all the AT cooling components and lines I can refer to? (I do have the FSM, but can't yet make sense of it without having studied the car itself)
Anyone have any insights as to likely culprit in this case? I see this car has an ATF Cooler unit of some sort, and an ATF Cooler Valve. Or is it likely to be one of the lines connecting all this stuff?
