I'm about to purchase 99-01 q45 touring struts for a good price & was wondering if I could successfully install these in my 98 base model q45. I was told you can adjust these shocks manually.

Do your have the touring suspension? I have not heard of many people wanting those struts because of the cost.

I am glad you had the balls to say what a lot have been thinking. You used to be able to get a response the same day. But peoples priorities changed on this board.

That isn't true, this is the most alive forum around......I would say no since the touring had electric power and the regular ones don't.

I am on the hunt for KYB SR Specials, I will let you know if I can find them. That would work better than OEM.

I have the base model suspension, I came across a new set of touring struts for 280$ shipped, no offense to the forum but it sucks it takes two days to receive an awnser I need asap and I hate to sound desperate.

buddy who's selling me the struts said it shouldn't be a problem since you can manually adjust the struts from the top, atleast that's what I was told but I don't want to pay 280$ for no reason & waste my time.
