Anyone here play hockey games?

At some point I will be getting one for PS3, but don't know what one to get. Figured I knew some one with one or the other that would make my decision for me...

last time i played a hockey game it was on sega genesis...

We were at a friends house drinking when he busted out PS2, NHL 2006? and a 4 controller adapter...**** was great...Ended up buying the same setup for my self. I am not really a sports guy, but hockey is pretty good. Not really a fan, and I don't watch it on TV but its fun to play... especially when you can sit down and drink a beer at the same time...

Also, someone buy Battle Field Bad Company damn it.

Duuude I've been oit of the gaming loop dude. I'm in the process of moving to texas from cali, and didn't even know it came out yet. Ill see you on it very soon. 4 hours from my destination. Mcallen, tx. Weeeerd. Can't wait to get some gt5p man. Havin withdrawls from no online gaming.

been out for a while man, get with it!(single player kinda sucks...)

i'm working on downloading the demo of it (i guess i missed it when it came out?). depending on how that goes should determine how long it'll be before i get battlefield: BC

*EDIT* I am also amazed how I have put in 29 days on that BISH!! My stats are solid though, 1.29 kill ratio, 1.16 win ratio, nearly 108000 kills on my hands, accuracy is almost postive again.

But I have logged my fair share of hrs too. I am about to go through my 2cd PS3.The first one overheated and the current one I own is freezeing up due to overheating

And JD's accuacy is negative because of a glitch. After you shoot so many bullets the accuracy automaticly goes negative.

Really? Damn... mine barely seems to get warm.

If you can, put it on its side in an open area.

mine stays warm to the touch, not so much hot. but the exhaust does tend to heat up my entire room due to lack of better placement. its a small price to pay i say

Yea I figured it out...

Some one turned off the fan I use to displace air from the enclosed space where my PS3 sits.My PS3 sits in the section where PC towers would go...

I cut a arch out of the back of the enclosure and place a fan to blow the air out of the enclosure. This then brings air constantly flowing areound and through my PS3. I have my whole setup attached to a LARGE surge protector. So when I turn on the master switch my plasma, suround sound, Fyre TV ( ), router, PS3 and fan turn on.Some one left the fan on OFF so when the switch was tuned on, the fan never went on.The air in the PS3 enclosure became warm and stagnant and froze her up.

I definitly need to be more careful

brutal, but it happens man. atleast our systems dont intentionally bake themselves like those other guys

After I fixed my fan issue my PS3 runs cool now.

But even with the fan on after a certain time playing my PS3 it gets hot and just turns off.

It is probably done this way on purpose, like a fuse that is triggered by heat. It probably saves my PS3 from REAL damage...

He doesn't have an account on NICO, but he is a Infiniti owner. So he definitly fits the NICO description.

Dunno what the deal is here.....but yeah gt5p, cod4, cod5(2hen its released), grid, juiced 2(someone said they drift on there, I'm gaaame)....hit me up....if this damn update ever goes through.
