So just wanna let ya guys know I did a projector reteofit on my s13 pop ups. I was tired of the bad halogen lighting and didnt wanna use hids n blind everyone else. So I bought some mini h1 4.1 bixenon projectors. Some ebay clear lense 7x6 headlights. So it was my first time retrofitting projectors ans gotta say it was kind of easy. I can see much muuuch more now. Totally worth the.money and time doing this. Ill post some pics and if ya have any questions or comments ill reply. Hope this helps ppl with poor lightling and wanting to do projector retrofitting.

those housings with projectors in them are HARDLY projectors the light shines right through them and throughout the entire housing and they are bad bad bad.

you need real projectors from a car that came with them, s2000 etc.

then take those projectors out and mount them to have it done proper.

gotcha, still think there's a better way than jb weld. it doesnt like to stick to plastic very well. atleast for me it didnt.

We also have an article doing something very sneakily similar. He used JB weld too, but it wasn't for securing. It looked to be for moisture sealing.

They are real projectors, cost me 135 dollars shipped from the retrofit source. I also got the fx-r projectors but didnt do those yet. The name of the projectors are mini h1 4.1 google it and youll see the munis are freaking awesome. The cutout or cutoff (whatever its called)is niice. They r bixenon. Hmm what else, oh well didnt know what to use to glue the projectors, so I used jb weld. Any more questions ill answer.

when adjusting these up and down did you just adjust the tilt on the pop-up side or the way they were actually mounted in the housing
