alright well its good that its in the car already the first things you should start with are the basics check to make sure your getting fuel to the motor make sure your getting spark check your coil packs they tend to go bad a lot and make sure your getting air to the motor check your mass airflow sensor make sure its wired up correctly and also check your cam angle sensor a lot of times these motors dont have the timing done right so you definetly wanna check to see if your timing is off. check all of that and let me know whats up after that.

So project ebay ended because the motor wouldn't crank? Seems kinda like the obvious end result.

alright now check to see if its getting fuel check your fuel pump and check to make sure your injectors are spraying fuel and make sure the fuel lines are all connected right and make sure you dont have any lines wrongly connected meaning going somewhere there not supposed to. then check to make sure your maf is good and its wired right the maf is one of the main problems why it could crank but not start and dont forget timing and make sure your cas is good to and the wires are all connected right that are going to your cam angle sensor(cas).

Haha its the cam angle sensor I have circled it in red in this pic you can advance or retard timing with this its just like a distributor thats for simple timing for more advance timing your going to need to advance/retard the cam shafts, by taking off the belts and re adjusting them....be careful not to bend valves and make sure the marks on the pullies all line up.

Cute

It's funny, before I bought an STi, all the owners were complete douche bags, and I had a 240 and was cool with nico. Now, STi owners are normal people and it's looking to be that time of the month for nico members... well, at least one.

Did I touch a raw nerve with you? Or are you the type that makes others hate certain car communities because of the way you treat non-owners? Once you grow up, in the mental aspect, not age, you'll see that it is just a car.

It's just Nico man, And when my brother owned a STI i couldn't believe how nice sube guys are. I'm sure it has alot to do with jelousy, I mean you went from having a 240sx that was built through ebay, to a NEWish STI.

speaking of which, you should post up some pics somewhere and what the plans are for it (if any) Congrats on the purchase.

Ahhhhhhhhhh I hate to be the one to go off topic, but that STI is sick.

My gf wants one but i have not taught her how to drive standard yet.

They are safe! quick, and pretty reliable as long as you maintain it.
Beautiful car.

Very awesome nismodriver240, Congratz on the better job and congratz on making a smart purchase. Warranty is the exact reason my friend just sold his 97supra and MR2 to get himself an EvoX. Once i finish school i too will upgrade to a better paying job and buy myself a better daily driver. I would still like to keep the 240 as a project, besides in 4 years its a classic car. Something about that makes me want to keep it haha.

My favorite Subie video (( http://video.kenblockracing.com/flash/player/ )) Ken block during Gymkahana practice.

OP, First let me apologize for going off topic. Everything looks good so far! Keep us updated on the Running status!

we can only hope. and he can sell all the junk parts... ON EBAY!!!! return it to its home.

nismodriver. you get butt-hurt too easily. the sube is nice. a car with a warranty does not make one mature tho. it just means you can whine to someone else when things break. not my cup of tea.

but then again im the immature type that likes to work on my own car.

either way, OP, good luck rescuing this damsel in distress. shes an ugly cheap whore right now, but you can make her pretty and classy

whats funny is i probably hang out with more sube owners than you do. just cus i own a 240 doesnt mean i worship it. ill admit its an oldass "sports" car. i am part of a healthy touge scene in my area, i dont care what car you drive, what matters is you are pushing your car to its limits through curves, and having a blast, not hoping that the dealer will warranty my car if an OBD check engine light comes on.

how much of your own work have you done on your sube? what wheels are those? exhaust?
