Problem with the front passenger windows after battery died

Discussion of Infiniti's amazing (and underrated) sport-luxury crossovers, the EX35 and EX37. For 2014, the EX series will be renamed QX50, in line with Ininfiit's new naming conventions.

Hi guys,
I appreciate any help i get on this. I left my car in a garage while I was on vacation. When I got back, the battery had died so I jump-started my car. Everything works fine except for the front passenger window. When i pulled it down, it immediately came back up after I released the button. Have you guys experience this before?

Try this (from the EX Manual, p. 2-50):

If the windows do not close automatically
If the power window automatic function (closing
only) does not operate properly, perform the
following procedure to initialize the power window
system.
1. Push the ignition switch to the ON position.
2. Close the door.
3. Open the window more than halfway by
operating the power window switch.
4. Pull the power window switch and hold it
to close the window, and then hold the
switch more than 3 seconds after the
window is closed completely.
5. Release the power window switch. Operate
the window by the automatic function
to confirm the initialization is complete.
6. Perform steps 2 through 5 above for other
windows.
If the power window automatic function does
not operate properly after performing the procedure
above, have your vehicle checked by an
INFINITI dealer.

Thanks for the reply. I tried what you wrote but no luck. Occasionally, I can hear random clicking on the front passenger window button.
