It's been driving fine. I know I am way over due for an oil change and when I check the oil last night, it was at the end of the lowest marker. Dumb on my part to not have gotten it changed.CPJ LB wrote:by chance how was the car driving prior to you hearing the noise??
prolly low or no oil which may have caused excessive internal damage...tow it to a mechanic.
good luck bro!!
Will add some oil tomorrow and let it run for a bit to see if it goes away. If that doesn't work, i'll be having it towed to the shop if I can't see anything from the surface wrong. I don't have a garage at my disposal to work in which sucks and with work and temps around 30 degrees here, there won't be much work done by myself on it.Fezzik wrote:I asked a good friend of mine who is an infiniti service manager and this is what he msged to me

The AC belt had split in half, half away around the circumference of the belt which was the sound in the video (the split part was off the pulley hitting things). All new belts, oil change and $260 later, the M is running like a champ. Thanks guys for all your help
