How can you tell????? im not really informed on telling what type of engine it is by looking at it.....so what are the differences between the 2 by looking at them

i think its the chaser areo body kit and im not sure about the hood the car was already built when i bought it sorry but i work with the guy so ill ask next time i see him and get back to you on it

For one, the timing cover doesn't say RB26 on it.

Also, the hose at the front that runs between the cam covers...26 doesn't have that. The other giveaway, only a single throttle body. The RB26 has one throttle body per cylinder inlet. Yeah...Not a 26. If the person who sold it to you told you it had an RB26 in it, he/she lied to you.
