Hey guys what's up.

Well the day finally came and I picked my Skyline this past Friday. I'm going to miss my 240sx KA-T but this was an offer I just could'nt pass up on.

Ok details, it's a 1990 R32 Skyline GTS-T Type M, RB20det, BONE STOCK (so most likely she was'nt abused in Japan), 101K km's, NO RUST, mint frame, original paint, clean interior and sweet motor. When I test drove the car at 3500rpm's in 2nd I punched it and got throughen back in to my seat and at 6500rpm's she still wanted to keep going. I very impressed overall and I'm super happy.

Ok here are some pic's. She cleaned up very nicely but I still want to give her a full detail and wax job and as well I have since removed the writting on the windshield.

So yeah that's her. I have a lot of plans in store including a GTR front bumper, hood, grill and a few other mod's in the engine this year too. Then of course some coilover's and rims and that'll be it for Phase 1 of this project.

As I do things I'll keep you guys posted.

Well anyway thanks for looking and take care.

ok thats it i'm moving to Canada! I think it would look tight lowered and paint the rims black or dark grey. Thatd be cheap too.

LOL, well it's pretty easy to import up here b/c we have a 15 year classic car law that states any vehicle 15 years or older can be imported with no issues. I have her registered and I'm emissions testing her next week only b.c she sat for a while and I wanted to driver her a while to insure she passes.

Anyway, thanks for the kind words fella's I appreciate it and I'll keep ya posted as things happen. I'm hoping to start the changes/mods in the next month or so. As for painting the rims, I don't plan to do anything to them as they will be used for drifting rather then taking a chance on wrecking a nice set. Plus 16" tires are a lot cheaper to go through the 17 or 18's. LOL

Thats a beautiful car, I think you should leave the rims just as they are, they look great. Where in Canada are you? My mum lives in Vancouver and so i'm up there a lot, she drives a gorgeous white Acura Legend so i try my best to make time to go up there all I can. lol oh and I go up because I love my mom too...

Well I'm about a weeks drive away from Vacouver .

I live in Ontario so I am pretty much on the east coast. As far as the rims go, yeah I'll be leaving them the way they are as they will be my winter/drift rims.

Well believe it or not I have some buddies that are on this board and this was a "special deal" between a friend (who's business is importing these cars) and I so I can't really tell you to much. Of course I'm not worried that anyone here would tell him but if my buddies see how much they may go back to my friend and want the same deal.

That being said, I can tell you the car retailed for $13,000.00 Canadian + tax but I did'nt pay that of course. Lets just say my old 240sx ka-t with a little cash from me and it's was a done deal.

All you guys have been great with the compliments and I really appreciate it, thank you very much.

So far everything seems fine. I had a buddies shop use his Nissan scanner to check everything and other then the O2 sensor voltage being low and the timing off by 5 degrees (advanced) the car runs sweet. I'll just change the O2 and have the timing put back to stock and she'll be perfect. Then I can start with the upgrades .

I'll for sure keep you guys posted on things as they happen.

Take care.

Well as i stated before my buddy (who has a business importing japanese cars) who hooked me up so I did'nt even pay tax with this deal.

Now I know a lot of you live pretty far from Toronto, Ontario Canada but for those who may live with in a few hours there's a huge Skyline meet in the works on a local board here. I wanted to post it up just incase there's a chance some of you could actually make it. We have guys coming from all over Canada including a few guys driving from the west coast to attend. Here is the link,

http://forums.gtrcanada.com/viewtopic.php?t=3452

Now you'd have to register a user account in order to view this thread but this is a really great board with wonderfull guys to talk with and share info. This is the main page that you can register from, http://forums.gtrcanada.com/index.php

It would be wild if some of you could come, imagine a parking lot FULL of Skyline's and I'm sure we'd all have a great time.

LOL, well it's not so much the ice and snow (as thats just frozen water) but more all the stupid salt on the road . I will have the car undercoated by Krown in May as it'll have all summer to bake in to the metal. If I did it now it would just trap salt on the frame. I do wash the car at least once a week depending on if it's snowed and more salt is put on the road.

Besides, it's not like salt..BOOM..rust.

Trust me I am taking VERY good care of her.

congrats on the purchase. do you post on gtrcanada.com?

we need to have a huge canadian Skyline meet in central canada. maybe find a nice stretch of open highway, and make a "running of the bulls" video (100 or so Skylines cruising down the trans-canada).

I'd love to help you out man but I don't live in the States, I live in Canada and here we have law that says any car 15 years or older me be imported in to the country.

I'm sorry I can't help ya but good luck getting your car in, I hope it works out for you.

Hey guys.

Well as promissed, here's what I've done so far.

Maintience - NGK plugs, AMS 10w30 oil, adjusted timing back to stock, new O2 sensor and reset the ecu.

To Be Done Soon - GM Syncromesh transmission oil and timing belt.

Now I have'nt done anything performance wise but this is what will be happening over the next week or two,

Megan Racing - Short Shifter, I had this in my old 240 ka-t and LOVED IT so I'm buying it again.

SARD Intake,

HKS Dragger Exhaust - cat back, 3.5" stainless steel piping, mandrel bent with a 5" tip on the muffler.

I also have a manual boost controller (I found out about it on another forum) that had a 30+ page thread on it. Everyone that had it, raved about it including a local friend of mine who's installed in on his RB20 motor. It's your basic ball&spring style but it holds boost perfectly and actually bleeds off approx 1psi on the high rpm's to help prevent boost creep. So I'll combine that with the fmic I'll be doing later this season and run 9-10psi daily.

That will do untill I upgrade to a series 1 RB25 turbo, split dump pipe and a 3" downpipe. New NGK Iridium plugs and 12-14psi .

So anyway thats it for now but as more comes up, I'll let you guys know. I also will post up some new pic's of the car hopefully soon too.

Have a good one.
