Hey i have 2009 infinity g37 , and i was wondering would you happen to know if performance chip tuning will add more hp to my car & if so which models should i look into purchase. I heard a lot about Hypertech, Bullydog gt & stage 2 performance chip which is actually cheaper but will it do the job? any ideas on which models would be best for my car?

I have a 2008 G37S automatic. After quite a bit of research, the only tuner I have used (since Oct. 2014) is the Bully Dog GT #40415. I got it online for about $325 and it works great. Definitely makes a noticeable difference in responsiveness and driving pleasure. With the performance tune, it allows for on-the-fly adjustments to ignition time from +4 to -10 degrees and for idle speed up to 250 extra RPM at idle. It gives a ton of readouts such as temperatures, RPM, ignition timing degrees, etc. On my car it does not offer changes to transmission shift points which I'd really like to have but it is still awesome. As a side note, when you set up the tuner it only lists years starting with '09 but for the '08 you use the '09 settings. In my view the unit is worth every penny I paid for it.

I want to try another type of tuner to see what works best (though I won't give up my GT!).

Hope this helps.

Hyper tech seems OK. Most people use UpRev.
