Spray some lubricant into the terminal, wipe off the excess, push down on the part that unlocks the terminals, and pull hard.

You can try a pair of pliers or two, but you have to be very careful not to break the plastic.

I too am having trouble disconnecting the clock from the harness.
Over the last two days I replaced the alternator on my 2001.5 2WD Pathfinder though, and it runs great now. My check engine light had been on since I bought it in 2008 and it is finally off! Yahoo!
I am having a hard time with the clock.
Oh and I'm a single mom. :) I hear the alternator is one of the hardest to remove and replace...if you have to do it make sure to remove the plastic thingy around the fan by the radiator. It will block our efforts to squeeze out the alternator which you will want to scoot up while turning the fan blades along. hehe

How do I clear the check engine light on my 2001 nissan pathfinder? I disconnected battery cables and left off for about an hour and still didn't clear check engine lite. Any sugestions?
