Ok someone please help me out on this. the passager side seat(back) will not recline upward, but will go back. will I have to replace the motor to the seat?

I had a similar problem with the driver side power seat not going forward or back, however all of the other functions of the seat operated just fine. I got a quote from the dealer for 1500 bucks, he claimed they tried numerous things to fix it but to no avail. I passed on the repair and came home and found this site. Among some of the suggestions such as tapping on the motor with a hammer was a really simple one which said to merely pull forward on the back of the seat while activating the lever forward. It immediately worked and I was stoked. I am really grateful for the tip....good luck
