Hey Nico, I'm in need of more help but this time with my paint and rims. I have a project rolling around gaining some progression and am planning ahead for next spring or the first sunny day out of snow. I am one to buy a s*** load of stuff and install them at once so I plan ahead. Anyhow, this is my s13.5 in a posi-primer. It needs to be sanded and I have some chips on the front fiberglass bumper I hope to replace before the paint for an oem specR front. What color would you paint this and which rims would you choose? please post a pic of the color, on any car and of the rims to set this off. I have some moderate pics and a cheezy drawing to show the overlays i'm installing to coupe the hatch and give it more of an s15 look. i am open to all opinions including how ugly you think these overlays are and how i should of left the flip lights instead of the strawberry face (i've heard it all). Like I always say, my car looks like a roller blade in these pics you can crack on them too but i do have a temp set up im running soon as i get the five lug swap in. you can check that on this thread tires-for-17x9-t498979.html. now for the pics

the interior looks a bit different but these are the colors i'm going for inside. i can do it over depending how sick the paint and rim choice is but feel free to add how ricey my car looks and no that ugly a** tach is not installed, nor are the other electronics i Picked up since

I would say the car would look good in a pearl white with some flat black or gloss black MB Battles...yea, I know alot of people are rockin the battles now a days but they are sick lookin wheels. Another thing, remember this is just my opinion, I would change up the interior colors...Stock is in and you can't deny that a super clean stock interior with some dmax checkard mats and a clean gauge set up will look better than almost any custom interior...but again, thats just my two cents.

Good luck and keep us updated

thanks for the feedback, i neutralized alot of the red inside. I'm going for more black, taking off the red on the doors, new shift boot, etc. it all started with a sparco speed with red accents.... i think your color choice is cool though. I am challenging KAB Super Silver Metallic on the GTR but i can name 12 pairs of rims, funny how the battle was a set. btw i was checking up on your build, i think you can take the s2k soon esp after that front end and coils.

lol. yea, thats my buddies s2k. Once I get some paint and wheels I will stunt on his car but as soon as the motor comes...its over.lol. I have been thinking of going a gunmetal or dark silver on mine with some white wheels for the track and then something for dd wheels. I recommed starting a build thread. Its awesome to be able to look back at where the car was and how far you get

If you're considering Battles, then you must plan on going 5 lug since Battles don't come in 4 lug. There are literally hundreds of wheels to cosider for 5 lug. What is your wheel/tire budget?

bllabong89 I am planning to build a thread on here, I didn't buy this car like this. I have alot of pics and videos inwhich I plan to do something im sure NicOclub will like but for track rims I would go with something vibrant, white is good too.

OutToWinPAHC Thanks, Referencing what I stated above I see you agree with me getting a specR front bumper before painting, this is not a "search" thread, I'm headstrong on what I want, I chose to challange what It with some good inspiration from you guys. Also I'm going for the silver on the gtr I posted, paint code KAB Super Silver Metallic, I want the G37s or 370z Nismo rims, I do like oem wheels best and want to make my car as nissan as possible. For example, i love the ISF blue but woun't get it because it's not part of what i want to do.

simmode1 Yes i'm almost finished with my five lug conversion, you where actually helping me on another thread. tires-for-17x9-t498979.html I have the 5x114.4 275/40/17 962s. I don't have a budget. I understand some people concider that unrealist but I picture what I like and attract idea's and situations to achieve what I want. If you believe or expect what you think you will attract it faster. You will get what you think is believable (what you believe you can get).

Anyone with a color setup better then the gtr silver and oem g37s/ 370z nismo rims in your opioion (respected and appriciated)

I dunno man... I think you kinda screwed the pooch on this one, homie. With those wide fenders that you have, you're gonna need a wheel wider than 10 inches with negative offsets to fit flush. And if you wanna keep the tires you already have, then you're stuck looking at 17's. You'd need something close to... like a 17x11-20 at least or something like that. Whatever you go with, it's gonna need to be a custom wheel for sure if you don't wanna run giant sized spacers anymore...

Midnight purple? Good good, that sounds pretty sick. Are you in the red s14 driving down 60th around seven in the morning? You have yellow fogs? I work in Palisades Medical wound care center. Am I mistaken?

simmode1 true, I will need something wider when I get the hub conversion instead of the five lug spacer hub adaptor. I have to rebuild my z32 calipers and get some misc missing parts for my rears. My plan was to swap my front slotted rotors to the back when i rebuild the calipers (i think they are both 11"x 30mm) and upgrade to something bigger up front. Now swapping the z34 brakes on to the z33 hit the light, and these cars take the 350z track rotors with an adaptor I sure you all know. Many say that's "beasting" or overkill but I don't think its too much money for what I would call "finished" stopping power. I'm sure some are going straight for the z34 brakes now.

What offset are you suggesting? and the OP wants to keep his 275/40/17's. Unless he wants to get rid of them, running 18's isn't an option.

OP, here's my suggestion to you: since you're more than likely gonna end up with a totally custom wheel, you might as well save your money/effort and forget the 5 lug conversion. Work and SSR will make custom widths and offsets for 4 lug upon customer request. I'm talking stuff like Work Meister/VS/Euroline/Equips and SSR Professors/Vienna Kreis.

CCW and JLine wheels offer this service as well, I believe...

simmode1 I'm not planning on keeping my 275/40/17's. That's from another post you helping me out on which is actually about removing those tires on those 962s 17x9+35. Those rims are my first 5 lug rims after the swap and I'm actually asking for different tire sizes to get those gunmetals looking good but this thread is for after paint and yes another set of rims. I might have the hubs by the time i paint with the other shyt needed to take the spacer converters off so any rim ideas goes.

yes guys i have 50mm wide rear fenders and wicked rear upper control arms and i'll also be running the ha tein coilovers

Oh. Well, you're still gonna need a custom sized 18's. Work/SSR/CCW/JLine is the way to go. It'll be SUPER expensive, but hey... you said there's no budget... :gotme

simmode1 yea I feel you. which one would you pic? what color do you think will be best in combination? I wasnt going to get into this now and save it for my thread but I spent sometime drooling over the front end conversion and after a string of events found the exact kit i was lusting over with wide rears, skirts, rear bumper and the front end for 500, I'm not sure if you know about the difference in s15 headlights and what not but the ones i found are harder to find too and the guy even converted h.i.ds to the s13 wiring. The story is something in itself and it does get more "majical" but I know we can what we want, exactly what we want. thanks for your feedback

The possibilities are endless really. I can't recall if you've already said, but how wide are your front fenders?

Yeah... you need a good idea of what you can fit up front in order to make a good selection for the rear...

It might not be "in style" now, but... ever since I was a kid in high school I was always a fan of gold wheels. And I don't mean that matte gold stuff you see around nowadays. I'm talking old school gold rims! Translucent gold! Gold Chrome! That gangsta sh*t!
Image
^^^This wheel is actually 24kt gold plated... but it should be possible to get close enough with powder coating like these Cereberus'...
Image

AZHitman has these gold Cereberus's on his black vert... Someday, I plan to do this on my S13 with my car painted pearlescent white. But i want my wheel ALL GOLD... no regular chrome or polish allowed!

Dayum, dem s*** are dope!
A gorgeous gloss black, navy blue, or really really dark red would look awsome over top of dem bottom shoes.
