I have an 01 pathfinder, I had my check engine light on and got codes p1140,p1145,p0134,p0300, and p1130.
I replaced the swirl control valve solenoids (variable timing solenoid ) on both banks, 3 variable valve timing sensors (cam sensors) that took care of all of the codes except for p0300 and p1130. Im about to replace the swirl controll valve solenoid (egr valve solenoid or purge valve) but I have a broken top on my Swirl controll vacuum canister (vapor canister) where the vacuum line hooks up. Someone took both lines off the canister and hooked them together. My issue is do i need this part? Also with the p0300 i have a rough idle, it runs smooth while driving but if you accelerate to hard it hits 3500rpm then kicks down. If you ease into it it shifts at 3500 and will cruise along smooth at 65-70mph. I have read about limp mode on this vehicle but not sure where to start, throwing sensore at it is getting expensive.

Your bank 1 oxygen sensor is inactive. I would start there.

I am having the dealer diagnose this issue so I can know for sure what to fix. I will update when i have more info.

I'm not guessing. That is literally what P0134 stands for. If your oxygen sensor is not working, it will create havoc for your ECM and engine.

The p01340 code was on but when i changed out the sensors for the p1145 and p1140 it was gone. I know an o2 sensor can play hell. Guess I'll see what the dealer finds and go from there. Might just replace it anyway.

I have a 2001 Infinity. Just replaced the battery and alternator. 3 weeks later my check engine light is on. The code is p1130, swirl control valve. I have noticed it idles funny every once in a while, not all the time, my problem is my tags are due this month and I have to pass emissions. This will cause me to fail right? Also does anyone have a ballpark of the repairs? I have a feeling my mechanic isn't always honest.

Replacing the SCV is pretty easy. Just a few screws and vacuum hoses. Depending on where you buy the part it will cost as little as $60 to $80. You should do the repair yourself and save some money. You have a code reader to reset the CEL?
