I have gotten this code for months and have reset it a few times. Now it just won't go away and I am trying to figure out which sensor I need to replace, If it is a sensor? Can anyone help with this? I have a 2003 G35 Sedan A/T. I have looked online and found that it may have to deal with a Timing in the Valve Shaft (Bank 1?) I don't know where to go except the dealer, but they want $200 just to diagnose it and I am not ready to pay that yet...

Thanks for the response, but I did not see P0011 on that list. I did find out that P0011 means IVT Control, but is that a sensor and if so, where is it located?

I did a google search on "P0011 ECU code G35"

I found the following on the 350Z NICO forum-

P0011 Intake Valve Timing Control

Not sure if that tells you what you are looking for or not.

SO what I found out was that this code (P0011) is realted to the CAM Advance timing and something related to the VANOS? Anyway the guy (Gordi) at the shop seemed to think the Sylanoid was gunked up and instead of replacing it which would have cost $1000+ he changed the oil and added a product called Sea Foam which hopefully will de-gunk the Sylanoid and the old oil which was built up in the Sylanoid tube to the injector. So he (Gordi) said to drive it for about 3k mi and if the check engine light does not come on then it should have worked otherwise if the check engine light comes on bring it back and they will check it and see if it is the same P0011 and probably chenge it out? Anayway hope this helps someone at sometime...

Failure to follow the 90 day or 3,750 change out interval can cause problems.
