On Board Diagnosis location 2000 Pathfinder

Can someone tell me where the On Board Diagnosis is located. I do not have a scanner tool, but the FSM shows that you can retrieve the codes using the On Board Diagnostics and a screwdriver and reading the blinks of the Engine light. But I can't find where this is located. Thanks
