I noticed oil leaks while I was refilling the windshield washer and I guess it's from the timing chain case but not sure.
My G is 2008 G35xS.
Have you guys had this issue before or would you advised what causes it and fix if needed?

If those are the top-front covers then they are probably the Valve timing control covers. There should be one for each side.

Yes, it looks like it is. So the reason is just due to wear and tear? But I don't think it's a part of wear and tear area. Now I'm wondering how serious it is. Should I bring it to dealer and get it fixed? Any advice?
Thanks in advance.

I doubt it's serious. I'd check the bolts are torqued down properly first and then replace the gasket and any O-rings before worrying about it too much. If you are still unsure then I would have it checked out.

It could also be at the junction of the valve cover and timing chain cover.

Unless it starts dripping on the ground, I wouldn't worry about it.

I'm planing to take them apart and look at inside what causes the problem and replace probably gasket? Will update later.

Keep an eye on your oil level if you are unsure.

Actually it's not from the valve cover. It's from the timing chain cover somewhere the gasket. Cannot even think about taking it off since it will be the big job. So just cleaned the oil and keep monitoring if there is any new leak

The valve timing control solenoid is right there. It uses a steel coated gasket and its fairly easy to change. Snugging it down might stop it too.
Did somebody spill oil there during a change?
Clean it good and keep an eye on it.

Did you recently change to a synthetic oil, that can cause seals to leak as well.
