I bought this used '99 back in June of 2009. I am a used car salesman and this baby came on the lot and I HAD to have it. It did have different wheels at the time. 16" Chrome Detata wheels that were just too small for this Big Body.

My 1999 Q45 w/ 129xxx milesSitting on 20x7.5 Incubus Wheels (+35) (i know, they are skinny, but I got a deal at $400 w/ good tires)

Its a pic from my phone wish I had more. Custom S13 Conversion on the suspension too Coils. 20" AME Shallen AX with 225/35/20 in the front and 245/35/20 in the rear. Z32 Calipers front and back with SS Lines. Has about 105K on the clock been in the family since about 40K for over 10 years. Its a 1997 with 2001 Lights, Bumper, Hood and fenders. Due to accident a long time ago figure fix it might aswell upgrade it. Right now waiting to put Wood steering wheel and touch up the leather otherwise shes still running and strong. Also needs a fender roll and a little work and paint. But for its age cant complain.

Car: 1998 Nissan Infiniti Q45 (Gulf Version), 126k km. rear reclining/massaging seats, rear center console w/ radio/AC controls, comfort seat.

Post

I acquired this car a month ago. It is a Gulf version Q45 that was imported brand new into the Philippines in 98. It is badged Nissan Infiniti q45. It now has 126,000km. The car has some very interesting (at least to me) features. It has dual reclining and heated rear seats with massage. It also has a center console/armrest with drink holders and controls for AC, air purifier and radio. It also has what they call a comfort seat. The front passenger seat back folds down to become a leg support and will allow you to stretch your legs on to the front passenger seat.

I plan to change the wheels and maybe put the Universal Air bags on it for an adjustable stance. It is still bone stock and I have just finished replacing all the fluids, filters, brake pads/rotors, front wheel bearings. Shocks were getting soft but could not get any replacements locally so I went to these guys: http://www.zeecarplus.net/shock.html and they recharged the shocks. Hope it holds until I get my kyb sr's. They have a 1 year warranty and so far it feels fine. It drives like a new car.

Detailed the interior completely last weekend and am happy with how that turned out.

Here is a link to a photo album of the car: http://s694.photobucket.com/albums/vv30 ... 20Version/

Welcome to Nico. What you might want to do is start a new thread and ask specific questions with some details and mention the year, model and mileage of your car. That way more people will see you questions and you'll probably get a stronger response.

Bought a '99 Q45t last month with 105K miles, bone stock and in immaculate condition, for $4,000 from original owner. Absolutely love this car so far, especially at highway cruising speeds, although fuel economy is pretty dreadful. Drove 1800 miles from PHX to ATL in 28 hours, and some of that in New Mexico and west Texas deserts was at 130mph+. I've never had this caliber of car before: one nimble and powerful enough to obey every command, and do it in luxury and understated style. I hope to hold on to it for a long time to come.

99 q45t 148000... No pic... Went deer hunting without my rifle last fall... Got headlight, hood and fender... Still looking for parts... Blk on Blk... Changed plugs and coils last fall and it runs as good as it ever did....

Got a 95 q45 and its quiter and faster but the 99 just feels better... 95 has too much power for anything but the interstate....

Hey guys. I'm new to this forum and just purchased my Q today. Here is a picture of her:

Image

Purchased her with pre-installed lowering springs & kyb shocks along with the Eurolines DH that are in the pic.

She currently has 167 xxx kms on her and looks like she's gonna need a little work. The HID install on it was very bad and there are various scratches, scrapes and dents in her. I can't wait to get her all done.

Hey All,
I am happy to report in as a new member to this forum and am pleased to announce that I am the proud owner of an (almost new) 1998 Q45t!

I just picked up my one previous owner, mint condition, 30Kmile, Q45t on 11/29/11. My father had a 1994 Q45 which would still be in the family if it wasn't in a write-off fender bender about 3 years ago. Needless to say there has always been a soft spot in our family for the Q - quality.

Here is my story and a quick background on this exceptional find!

For the last 10 years - I was the proud owner of a Mitsubishi 3000gt base 5-speed manual. The car had serious character and was a lot of fun - but at 117K miles (keep in mind the 120K mile tune-up on the way) it was becoming expensive to maintain. The kicker was the fact that I recently took a new sales position which will require me to continuously cart clients around - something which was impossible in the 3000gt.

When searching for cars I stuck to a budget of 12K my hot buttons were 1) RWD 2) V8 3) Leather, Sunroof, Premium Sound 4) Character / Individuality / Rarity.

I initially went to the dealership to look at a 2001 Infiniti i30. That car was very nice and a great value @ 34K mikes - but I couldn't take my eye off the Q45t parked in the middle of the showroom among the new 2011 models. I knew it was there - but with a window sticker price above my budget I tried to look the other way. Fortunately I couldn't! The Q looked amazing, drove amazing and at 30,000 K miles was a significant find!

After two days of test driving, inspecting the undercarriage on the lift, researching everything I could find on this beast on the internet (including this helpful forum as well as kbb.com) I made a deal and traded in one 1998 for another - albeit a much better 1998 IMHO :) I am amazed at how quick my Q is off the line, how powerful and smooth this car is - 80 MPH seems like I'm going 50 MPH. The turning radius is impressive (it basically turns on itself / dime) - this auto is very comfortable overall - yet still has a serious performance edge (car does not 'float' at all - perhaps because of the t suspension?). I drove it about 80 miles today with a big smile on my face...watch out Chicago - POC's 98 Q45t is on the loose!

Special thanks to my Dad for helping me with the hunt and every step of the way!

Details of my Q:

1998 Q45t @ 30 K miles (lowest mileage second generation Y33 for sale in the U.S. at time of writing 12/1/2011)
Grey leather interior
Color Code: #KR5 = Pewter Pearl Metallic Clearcoat (Greenish Gray)
1 owner, garage kept, but still 14 years old and lived in a downtown Chicago garage but there are some very small very minimal dings and dents (overall the car is MINT)
