Starting this thread if anyone finds Verts for sale so that they can be tracked. I search Autotrader, ebay, etc to enter them in the registry, this thread should help keep up with them as well. Some don't have VIN numbers listed so this will also be a way to track those.

If anyone finds a Vert for sale post up a link and info on it.

That's what I'm hoping for. All the ones without VINs hurts though.

Have also seen a few on other forums and PM'd them to register theirs. Hopefully they will.

Couldnt we just email the person for the vin? Just ask for it so you can get a carfax report so they would give it to you

We have every VIN # for every car they built.

What we don't have is a match to any current or recent information about those cars.
We have 302 registries in the database website.
We have 340 posts in the registry thread on the forum. I suspect about 120 of the 340 in the thread are not in the registry website due to people not posting their vin# or just not putting the info on the website.

So if I were to make an educated guess... we probably have about 425 or so convertibles accounted for.

It would be nice every convertible owner realized the value in this registry effort. It's a limited production vehicle. They are getting to the point where few are still roadworthy (almost 20 years old). They are getting more and more collectible as time goes on. The more information we can get on the current status of these cars, the more we can identify just how rare and collectible they are. Plus, having pinpointed more info can help us register them as officially collectible for a number of different things like license plates in some states, insurance policies, etc...

Please... Every 'vert owner should put in some effort to locate 'verts and update the information we have on them.

FAST found 2338 US VINS for 1992. There are 16 holes.
FAST found 4315 US VINS for 1993. There are 485 holes.
FAST found 1392 US VINS for 1994. There are 0 holes.
The holes are most likely Canadian models.

For the record, Red Pearl is what we know of as Burgandy. Those may be my favorite color of stock Verts. Weird that I have my least favorite color.

I'll be back on the search for Verts later in the week (beginning of the month they actually make me work a lot).
