ya and when that happens we need to protect them from you gutting the interiors ; atleast the only real damage they'd get is cone carnage

here's my beast... in the reparation works, but it'll probably always be threatened with the very same cone carnage.

out of the 1000 built there are an estimated 400 left as actual ZXRs the wrest have been re-painted or destroyed like this one ( wich was repainted then destroyed)

mine was literally 1 day from being crushed before I triped over it in the junkyard THANK GOD they held it till I got the dolly out there

Hey. I'm putting mine back together. She'll go in for new paint in two or three weeks. Full body paint job coming up. Keeping the original color.

Now the repair on that ZX-R is what is admirable. Dang that's a lot of cutting and welding.

The bottom ZXR isn't mine, the junkyard owner had contacted me since he heard I was looking for a wing, I had just got my wing when I got the e-mails, he has since parted out the car and will sell the wing for $150+ Shipping.

As for mine it has more than it's share of cutting and re-welding... here's my bad spot

since this picture was taken I've trimed about 2" out of the bent in quarterpanel since the install of a tokico suspension has lowered the car and the wheel was rubbing when I hit the throttle... I have a replacement quarter but I have to get the car into the shop to do the job... should be within the next month or 2, then rust repair and paint She'll be done by the '06 Kumo tire budget challenge and under budget since I'm doing it here at school as a class project

ya we did go over that... and it was clear the first time outta the garage then I filled the gas tank and RUB!

it's cleared up now but the only time I been able to go drive i had about 500lbs worth of stuff for the dorm in the car, since then it's been raining, and Nashville traffic and rain are 2 things that don't mix at all... I went to kroger earlier and the road with speedlimit of 45 was at a 15 mph crawl... not even crowded.

the TN region is running Auto X at Nashville Super Speedway this sunday and I've already registered... so I'll let ya know sunday night how she does...

well they had a low turnout attend yesterday (only about 15 ppl) but almost all of them are planning on making the trip, everyone seems to be a little bummed that none of the AutoX dates line up...

also for the record most everyone here are planing on attending the NiCO meet @ beach bend... and planning on a stop at the 'vette museum if you wanna throw the idea of meeting up @ the museum or somethin then both clubs cruise into the meet together... just a thought.

nice, how is it you have a rhd model? Did you convert it, or was it imported before they made it hard to import cars?

It was imported from Japan. Then it sat in a garage for a very long time. It has about 135xxx kilometers. in Miles that is under 100,000. The pictures quality on page 1 are better but the car is green in those pic.
