This year was another awesome event at Carlisle for the NICOclub crew. A great time was had by everyone that came out to race, drift or simply spectate. If you have pictures from the weekend, feel free to post them here.

Image

One of the regional events photographers came through and took a bunch of pictures of the event to include our paddock and track areas. Her name is Pam and she was very cordial to everyone that was lined up to drift or auto-x. Here is one she took of the NICO tent:

A bunch of others: http://northeastwheelsevents.com/photo? ... gi=&page=3

Thanks again to everyone that came out this year. We'll do it again in 2014, so mark your calendars now!

I was waiting for one of these threads to pop up. I saw many nico members/ cars on the first page of the link. I didn't take many photos but have a few videos of drifting and such I will put here.

I'm interested in seeing Chris' and Daryls photos. Post up the photobucket link when you have them guys.

I have a few to add to the mix. Sorry I'm a couple of days late to the party. I had a busting headache all day yesterday. I hate flying. :squint: Anywho, enjoy!

Spectacular event... Thanks SO much to all who attended, you guys make this event so damn fun!

I got some seat time in a few cars on the track, which is a great place to evaluate a car... They were ALL amazing in their own right - The M Coupe, the 5-series, the BRZ, and the turbo first-gen Miata - what a blast!

Seth, your BRZ looks SO damn good. Tastefully-modded, but a HUGE improvement over stock.

I took about 40 pictures the entire weekend, as opposed to the 500-600 of year's prior. Without the track side access we used to have and a crowded bleacher area I couldnt get anywhere near a moving vehicle, anything not moving didnt really interest me. I was at the show for a total of 4 hours, the rest of the time was hotel debauch.

That said I have a couple nice pictures of Sanosuke's stanced Altima Coupe and Bart's RC truck mid flight (including the jump that ended the jumping). Ill post up when I have a chance.

I will definitely do that. I want to get media cred for Formula D this year, can you hook that up? NICO correspondent DJ B Easy?

EDIT: If you can get me onto that corner the videos above were taken from Ill be happy. That is plenty close.

Here is about all I have worth sharing:

Tarek's stanced AC (SanoSuke on the board). I had seen plenty pictures of his car, and met him once at a meet last September, but this is the first time I really got to look at the thing. The stance thing is NOT my cup of tea, but for some reason I LOVE the way his AC looks.

And here is Bart's RC truck. This thing is INSANE. I must say one of the hardest times I laughed all weekend was watching him drive it from the top of the hill near the track paddock. He had this thing chasing people down near the car displays and grandstand literally so far away we could barely see it. They had no idea where he was or who was controlling it. He was racing actual cars with it! I was dying, great stuff.

As he put it on Facebook...

Its already crashed on me 2x haha. Third time is a charm!
It is incredibly slow going, but from what I've seen from other pics hosted there, they are supreme quality.

I just bit the bullet and figured out photobucket. I can't get rid of it because if I do, all the links to the pics I've posted in the past will break. It sucks but it is what it is. :squint:

yeah photobucket, which used to have unlimited uploads one day decided they wanted to restrict me to like, 2 gig or something, so my current usage is in the 300% range of capacity. I'm not deleting anything, I Just can't upload anything more. Anyway, the pics are up on google+ and I shared them on the google+ event page.
Uploading to google was a bit of a pain. They definitely have some kinks to work out, but they do throw in the occasional "hey, we went ahead and made this into a .gif for you" feature, which was pretty neat.

Nice pics! Im sticking with you next year.

The Z32TT is Surman's. He doesnt come on here anymore. I took a ride in it with Darryl, man that thing is blast.
And I have pics from last year of a 666 intercooler, but its on a gold/champagne car. Wonder if he painted it or swapped to a different car?

That thing wouldn't have been so clean if one of the drifters hadn't managed to stop in time. He was trying to powerslide into his parking spot and instead plowed towards the Z. I think he stopped a few feet shy of it -_-

Only pics I can find of my car are with it less one wheel lol. I'm bummed I didn't get much of a chance to put on a good show for people this year. I rushed the last bits together to make it in time, and there were just too many bugs left to work out on it. it'll be at 100% for next year! Awesome pics so far, looking forward to seeing more.

Yep. I had stern words with the two young men on Sunday morning. Fortunately, they were contrite, and I allowed them to stick around.

Nice kids, just a little bit retarded. Hopefully, my "Dad lecture" will keep them from acting like douches when they're not on the track. :)

Lots of chatter about that, hahaha!

Props to you for hobbling it back into the paddock on three legs. :)

lol at that point I was frustrated enough that I probably would have made it back with one wheel on the car.
