Numbers Thread - Post your Setup / Dyno / 1/4m

I wanna get a database going since alot of times people ask what XX parts, or XX power will do.

Post a very brief list of parts that you have, put up two 1/4m times, and dyno numbers if you have them (please link dyno pictures).

Car was on KYB AGX's in the rear and KYB GR2s in front. Full street interior and on cheap Fuzion ZRi tires all around. 205/50/16 in front and 245/45/16 in rear.

14.3 @ 98 mph w/ 2.3 60 ft
14.4 @ 87 mph w 2.3 60 ft (for some reason I heard a pop like an intercooler pipe blew off and car just lost power towards the finished line so I finished the 1/4 mile in neutral rolling pass it).

I normally get 2.2-2.0 but for some reason that day I weren't hooking those tires.

Recently had the car re-dynoed with the new actuator at 13psi. Horsepower only increased to 249whp but torque climbed to 245 ft/lbs.

Haven't ran the 1/4 mile yet, but I did run the local 1/8 mile track.

Well... just an idea of what im running..
1990 chasis fb
1994 S13 redtop
Bone stock
KA radiator
Old fuel pump (walbro will be installed once heat/time/work permits)
6 puck clutch (freebie)
3" down pipe, 3" high flow cat, BRM exhaust.
210lb heavy arse (myself)

I came to the track hoping for mid 14's at worst or even best. Even a 14.9 would've made me happy.

But, I ran 15.5 best and 16.2 at my worst......

My reaction time was .6~.7 on average

Now i turn this into a question, is it me, fuel pump, radiator (super heat?), or maybe my cat that may be causing such horrific times? Or just a combonation of it all?

Any help i'd gladly appreciate.

P.S. most searchs i pull up of "stock" sr20 installs are simular but may have a new fuel pump or if not a koyo radiator or something that makes it different than my baby. And from what i see they run 14.1's on average.

*Not to bad. I kept redlining 3rd on the track. I never made it to fourth. My speed sensor ended up breaking off and I ran the car without tranny fluid for one run. Tranny basically exploded on the track:(

I made 20 passes my first day at the track ( i was not there to watch or hang out), this was my last and final pass. timing was off like 3 or 4 degrees and my o2 sensor wasnt operational

on a dynojet in hot weather with no air going through the intercooler it made 269whp and I think 245ft. lbs and would spike about 18psi and hold 15
my friend with identical setup but gtir t28 made 268whp and 275ft.lbs.

** Removed claim of 120+ mph traps in 1/4. My friend has 470whp and runs in the 120's. You should be around 110 **

Hey I got a 93' Coupe 240SX also, but its the shell only, I plan to do a SR20 installation. i was wondering if you had any problems swaping the SR20DET in your 93' coupe. If so could you please let me know and get very detailed, cuz im new at all these nissan motors, and the parts as well... I just want to put the Sr20 in the 93' coupe and build up the motor to reach at least 240-280whp, but dont know where to start, once i get the motor in the car. id like to know what the max boost the motor can hold is and how much whp i will achieve doing so, SAFELY. After that what parts i will need to reach the whp range i requested before, how much they are (ESTIMATED) and where i can get them cheap... sorry this reply was so long and i hope to here from you very soon so i can get this year long project started.

sr20det red top stock internals, stock intake manifold, peak boost turbo mani, gt3071R turbo, apex i/c, earls oil cooler, redline ecu, 15psi boost 91 octane, s-afc, itc, stock block, nismo 555cc inj, 112 degree weather, denso ik20 plugs, 3" invidia exhaust, custom resonator, silencer...resonator and silencer so i wont be so loud...cops here are picky....did 288.5 whp 275.6 torque. previous dyno run with diff ecu and cold night weather same psi...343whp. resonator and silencer killed about 20 horses. maybe 740cc and greddy mani should get 400whp hopefully. maybe some mild cams as well....but thats later...gotta work on my oldie skyline with sr20det first.

325hp 289ft/lbs but i hit the speed gov at 6200rpm so the hp was still goin. T3/T4 Turbo, 550cc inj, fidanza flywheel, greddy cam gears, act street/strip, greddy pulleys, safc, hotshot top mount exhause mani, tial 40mm gate, hks fuel rail, z32 maf, z32 fuel pump, spearco fmic. I am probably forgeting stuff. I ran a 12.99 @ 114mph on 225 half worn street tires.
