I'm sure this is covered somewhere on this site, but after reading upwards of 100 posts...I'm just going to ask.

Concerning a 1996 J30

1. How many O2 sensors does this car have?I've seen posts stating that the '96 J30 has two O2 sensors, however, I read several posts that seem to indicate four O2 sensors.1a. Where exactly is Bank 2, Sensor 2 located?1b. Just for grins, where are the others located?I've physically found two on the car, but I do not know which ones they are.

2. Where exactly is the idle control valve located?

There are 4 the front ones can be seen from above one you can see in the area of the transmission dip stick the other look down the back of the engine on the drivers side just to the left of the brake booster the rears are a little furthe back in the exhaust circuit.

OBD1 has 2 o2 sensors, OBD2 will have 2. Just get under there and see.

That would be the downstream O2 sensor. The one after the cat.

Driver's rear side of intake manifold.

Based on above posts, this car has 4 O2 sensors. Bank 2 Sensor 2 is behind the cats. I crawled up under the car and located the two rear sensors.Which one is Bank 2 (driver side or passenger side)?

Would a service manual call it out for sure? Can someone with a service manual confirm passenger side=bank 2?
