nrg steering wheel ?

hey guys I'm definitely getting a NRG quick release steering wheel for my car but i have been seeing that when people install them there horn does not work after the install. so if i get one will i have my horn back ? and is there anything else that will go away that i should know about like turn signals or something.

p.s. i know that the air bag will be gone after the install.

You just have to make sure the horn button has a connection to the wires going into the column. The way it works is a metal plate conducting the current when you push down on the horn button. It's two wires if I remember correctly.

It'll probably depend on the quick release manufacturer and whether or not they designed it to keep the horn. I would just call NRG. Even so though, I don't think the horn should be a deal breaker. If you really want to keep it, wire it up to a button that is on your steering column or something.

i have a nrg slim QR and a Nardi 330 and my horn doesnt work. worked before the QR tho
