So im new the G model of cars and i am not sure if i am having an issue or not. When my g35 is in drive the car does not roll forward. I had an altima before and when it was in drive without my foot on the brake the car would start to roll forward. My g35 does not do this. Am i having an issue or would yall consider this normal operation? The g35 starts to roll at around 1500-2000 rpm and is anywhere from 2500-3000 rpm while driving normally. It does feel like as if the car is being held down or lagging. :frown: i would really hate for this car to be messed up already.

One or more calipers may not be completely releasing,
Do one of your tires feel hot after driving a few miles?

Jack up each wheel and spin the tires. They should rotate freely

I havent had a chance to check that I can drop by one of the shops i used to work at after work and give it a try and if that isnt the issue ill try and take a video to show you guys whats going on. The car is absolutely amazing even though its at 142k miles it goes when it needs to, interior is spotless, and i got all the goodies to go with her.

confirmed it to be the driver front caliper sticking a bit. I'm going to be replacing the rotors and pads and will be taking care of the caliper at the same time. Thanks!

Had that problem twice with my 92 Lexus.
Lexus refused both times to cover the cost of replacing the sticky calipers.
That is why I only buy Infiniti and the wife has a Nisssan Altima

I had that problem with my '93 Probe. Rear caliper e-barke would stick and the first time the rotor was glowing red and smoking. Lucky I didn't burn the car down.
