So just thought i'd see what this forum is all about and maybe check out the maxima racing scene. Only i guess it dosen't exist...
Nobody does anything to these cars on here?

You can start with the "FAQ & How To" sticky on CAI, turbo, nitrous oxide, etc and then do a 'SEARCH. There are numerous threads on performance improvements.

You must have forgotten to turn the lights on so you could see clearly.
There are quite a few modded Maxes on the forums.

Not me....had a stang when i was younger. LOOOOOOOVE my I30t stock. Well close to stock it has tokicos cuz they were cheaper then oem. Car runs quiet and smooth.

Mine had a Cattman CAI, headers, Vibrant bolt on cat back, Unorthodox Racing underdrive pulley, Tokico Illumina Kit, Powerslot rotors, Hawk pads, Russell Stainless Steel Braided Brake Lines, and various wheel options. Plenty of exterior (lighting changes). Here are some pics of mine:















The Sad part is that even after all of those mods, My Maxima (which was an auto) still only put down 168 FWHP, and 207 ft lbs TQ. That number would have been higher if it was a 5MT. Anyways, you see the different ways to mod, now see the DEMISE!

Wow....so you apparently didnt even try to do any research. Even the most basic Google or YouTube search would have been able to put that question to shame.

Because in the end, without FI and or Nitrous + 6MT, the Maxima is a peppy daily driver/fun sedan. Otherwise, meek in the power division at most. Great ride though, don't get me wrong.

My Maxima is old, but it's not terrible. I have a few mods and when I took it to the track, I was in the 14s.

It was traded in last year on the G35s sedan for the wife. She wanted something newer.

Mine with the Eibach suspension was actually a pretty harsh ride, don't know how the dash stayed on the car at time with how jarring it could be. With the Illumina's, RSB, FSTB and stickie tires it could corner quite well tho.

I haven't had a chance (or the money) to mod my 99 Maxima yet - but I will, and it will be interesting.

I've been around but just REALLY busy the last few months. Plus, doesn't seem to have been much worth wild to post on.
