so i changed the harness on my tt, the problem is that the new(to me) harness doesnt have the egr temperature sensor plug, and im gettin a code 35, ive looked at some threads and found that on the ecu(itself) slot 30(this is where the black wire goes) and 39(this is where the orange/ black line wire goes) are for the sensor, but theres alreay a wire on 39(white wire, dont know what is for), my car is a 91, the harness is for a 93, i thought they were compatible, do i have to de-pin and rearrange the wires, any info would help a lot, thanx

The colors are completely different, and some of the pinouts changed. Your best bet at this point is to go through with a multimeter and check from the ECU plug to wherever the pins are supposed to go according to the 91 FSM. That is, if you plan on sticking with this harness.

figured it out, i think the guy who sold me the harness de-pin it to remove it, and when he re-pin it he put it in the tps input in the slot for the egr temp sensor, thats why i didnt have a slot for the resistor on my ecu plug, so now i have to move the tps wire to its correct location and put the resistor on the correct slot, thanx guys

Lol yeah there is. It goes either in or near the PS precat for the TT. Not sure about the N/A.

Ahhh that's why I didn't know about it. Of course that's the reason.
