No adjustment left in CAS

No adjustment left in CAS

I haven't ran across this and just wanted to ask because the thought came into my head. What happens when you run out of adjustment on the CAS? Just replace it, or would there be a different underlying cause?

check for wear on the splines inside the cam shaft and on the drive end of the CAS. If those are fine then it may be the CAS. Do you need more advance or retard?

No dice. Sounds like a bad camshaft. The splines in the center of the exhaust cam have a nasty habit of coming loose and rotating inside the camshaft. No real way to fix it except buy another cam. Are you running the stock, un-modified upper timing cover and have all of the bolts installed? Usually when I've heard of it happening in the past, it's due to a modified, or improperly installed upper timing cover.

LOLZ!!! I like the Dremel statement haha. Would work though lmao (Please dont take me serious). Just unbolt it, rotate it where needed and JB Weld it in place. It's a factory approved service procedure... didnt you know j/k.
Godd*mnit I dont feel like f*cking searching so either give me the d*mn answer Im looking for or shut the f*ck up

Dont f*cking tell me where to put things, its not in your mouth or a** so quit b*tching

If you think profanity is unnecessary then maybe you shouldnt have given me a reason to use it

thanks for the reply guys. I dont check this much anymore as you may have notice.
Everything on the engine is stock except for bolt on. No aftermarket cams or anything like that.

Ryan, that does make sense so I may leave it where its at as timing is still within range but im going to eventually invest in Tomei cams and springs. Thanks again for the input guys!
