My name is nate and this is kinda my first real post on Nico. I have used this site allot but for some reason until recently, i just wasn't involved. Now here is my build. I own a 1986 nissan 200sx/ s12 silvia, Mods are as follows. Custom transmission and engine mounts, custom transmission cross member, Light weight fly wheel, stage 2 clutch, 05 VQ35de w/ 6spd Transmission, Energy suspension bushings, Blue springs & strange shocks(rear), Megan s13 coil overs, s13 tension rods, s13 spindles, s13 lower control arms, s14 tension rod bracket, A1 racing custom Tie rods, Rota Grid OffRoads, Z32 front brakes, Jeggs radiator 2 row (only one that i could find to fit that matches my inlet and outlets), Oil filter relocation kit/cooler, and allot more to come, some i may have forgot. Unfortunitly this build in in progress but here is what i have so far. Hope you enjoy.

First day i brought the car home.

Looks good man! Where are you from? I noticed the Dutch Bros shirt on the girl in your engine bay! I admit that last summer I spent more on coffee there than I did on my car!

Well here are a few more pics!
Image
Still need to put on my rotors and a 15mm spacer to match the difference the front has because of the s13/s14 suspension conversion. After that i should sit flush with a fender pull.
Image
Definitely need a pull and i need to lower it a little after paint of course.

Love my ROTA Grid OffRoads!!!!

This is badass! Pumped to see more.

What are you doing for engine management? With the vq the options are not usually the best. Haltech? megasquirt? factory ecu & bcm? AEM universal?

I will be running a oem ecu with NAS removal and a tune from Z1 Motorsports. This was the cheapest and simplest way.

Update! Driving a few hours Sunday to get a r200 diff, driver fender, Maybe a Turbo hood, and finally a Dash. O and did i mention along with the ecu tune i purchased a Z1 motorsports intake package, and Z1 Plenum spacer :O Let the N/A power come. The guys at Z1 motor sports are Really nice and provide GREAT customer service ill do a mini review on the parts when they get here. So far i recommend them Highly.
Anyone have any preference on muffler brands? Im running Duel 2.5inch header back w/out catz and a Xpipe. Was thinking Magnafow but havent decited. Any recommendations will be taken seriously.

Well XnA' on the r200 long nose. Because the 350z and g35 receive the speed info from the ABS system i will not be able to have a speedometer........ Freaking peachy right :( But after talking to a guy from Z fever i was informed that i can use a j30 diff and use its abs sensor to get a speedo working :) Although yet again more custom fabrication. And as far as wiring i was going to do it all my self but because of time constraints will end up having z fever do the wiring harness mod for me. Basically means Power, Ground, & Switched Power are the only 3 wires i have to hook up other than the other sensors of course. Video below!

Well this is just a quick update. Since all my love ,care, and attention is being put into my s12 i have been ignoring my poor s14. :(
So last week i purchased new coil overs, 5lug hub conv, and 18x9.5 +20 rota grids for my s14.... But now im outz of moneyz :(
Anyway payday is soon! and a J30 diff hopefully will be within grasp Soon (IF I CAN FIND ONE AT A GOOD PRICE).
Last but not least anyone know of any good jobs in or around the orange county area? as far as auto, fabrication, parts? Will be moving soon hopefully, and definitely will be needing a job. ( If i get desperate i could give old ladies a good time as long as they have the $000000000000000000.00 to back my services up LOLZ )
