Hello everyone, I am new to the site and looking for advice. I am in the process of finding a 240 Sx with the sr20det swap to build. I have found one that is stock and rebuilt. It was done less then 500 miles ago and has new water pump, oil pump, bearings, piston rings and head gasket. The only other mods to the vehicle are greddy front mount and blow off, also tein drift suspension and act clutch. Finally the vehicle has no interior and small amounts of rust underneath but a clean body. It is a 1992, 240sx s13. What should I look for when I see the vehicle and what would be a fair price? I appreciate any feedback or advice!

I used a VPP to purchase my '13 SVV6 KC AT 2WD Frontier. The Negotiating started 1K $'s below Dealer Invoice.

Truck is 14 month's old now, and According to KBB, it is Still Valued @ more than I paid for it.

I also used TrueCar.com,, to see who paid the least amount for the same Truck,, and I used that Figure for my Target Price,, OTD.

Not all Dealer's are willing to sell OTD,, for the Same Price,, Even with the VPP,, so beware of that also.

Maybe it may help to makeup a little bit from the Bad Deal's that I made prior to this one.

Live and Learn,, but back then,, I didn't have Truecar.com to see what the lowest purchase price by other's were.
