My Rig: 89 Nissan D21 4x4 VG30E
(Sadly i don't have any pics of her absolutely covered, was to busy having fun to stop an take a picture)

My beauty after her first trip out to a place we call Jim Creek, owned the truck for about 4 days, went straight to the tire shop and picked up some 30x10 Hankook MTRTO3's, after the install i just had to test them out! Amazing tires, haven't failed my yet!

Poor Girl had to go into the shop today, spent the last 8 hours laboring under the hood (that's not there at the moment) The previous owner tried to do some of his own work and snapped 3 exhaust bolts on the right bank inside the cylinder head, and 2 bolts inside the cylinder head on the left bank, i couldn't take the noise, lack of power, and fuel mileage I've been getting robbed, so after getting my gasket set and parts i pulled it into the bay and went to work.

3 hours in and I've got the cylinder heads off, cleaned up the pistons and deck of the block, shes not looking to bad for 195K miles xD

after a while i found out my machinist is a life saver and was able to salvage the head and with a few new studs i saved a lot of money and was starting to put everything back together (I know the rockers look burnt as hell, found out the head gasket was a little over torqued on the right side and the gasket started to "ooze" a little and covered some of my oil journals, got it all cleaned and taken care of and everything specs out just perfect, so new gaskets and new head bolts and she was ready to under go reassembly

)

Got the left side fixed as well and started going back together, and with a little elbow grease i was surprised at how well it cleaned up, thing almost looks brand new ha!

So 8 hours later she is almost all put back together, had to put the tools down tho cause the shop was getting ready to close, but made a lot of progress today, just gotta finish up a couple vacuum lines, electrical lines, re-install the radiator, pulleys timing belt etc. and she will be back up and running and ready to thrash some trails and beat some mud senseless!
(And yes, her only paint job is mud, haha been covered in a layer sense i bought the truck, and if it rains and washes it all off, i make it my goal to find a way to coat it again)
If you didnt break something, You didnt try.
