Hi every one.

Before I'm harped on, I HAVE used the search function to look for my answer, but nothing conclusive has come up.

I have a 1996 Nissan President, which to my knowledge is essentially the exact same thing as am infinity Q45 but with different body panels. I have a set of Nissan Skyline GTR/ GTS-t type M front brake calipers that I would like to mount to the car, but I'm unsure if they are bolt on. Everything I have found has details pertaining to 300zx n/a and 300zxtt. Does anyone here know if the calipers I have are a direct bolt on?
I need new disks up front and would love to upgrade at the same time if it's possible.

Cheers!

:welcome: to NICO!

The skyline is pretty rare here... I'm not sure if anyone here has tried to bolt Skyline brakes on to a Q45 before. You may get to be our test case! Do they look close?

Funny you should mention this because I have been running R32 GTR front brakes for about a week now. If they are R32 GTR or R33 GTS-t calipers they are bolt on. The problem is rotors which are expensive or have to come from europe or japan which is about a month to a month and a half wait.

Right now I'm just running the front calipers, I will be going with Z32 rear calipers when I get money in since after the track day at laguna seca I have a cracked rear rotor. Here are the caliper +rotor specs:

R32 GTR(89-93):
4x40mm piston
296x32mm rotor

Z32 TT(90-96):
4x40mm piston
280x30mm rotor

Q45(90-96):
2x43.2mm piston
280x28mm rotor

Bolt pattern is the same for all of these calipers. The R32 GTR spec-v brembos as well as the R33 Brembos do bolt up but are way too expensive, better of with Evo 8/9 calipers and rotors. If you need rotors your best bet is EBC since they are the most cost effective. I got EBC GD1226's for $250 shipped which are slotted and dimpled, you can get plain rotors as well.
