Nissan gets $1.6 billion load to develop EVs

Ford, Tesla, and Nissan all got "pre approved" the other day by the US Government for huge loans to develop EVs. Nissan got $1.6 billion, a chunk of which will be used to redevelop the Smyrna plant to produce electric vehicles. Look for them to be rolling off the assembly line here in the US in 2-3 years. The first EVs will be made in Japan.
