Virtually any engine can/has been put into the 280ZX. The best bang for your buck is still the L28ET. It was made for the car and you can get a reliable 300RWHP on the stock bottom end. No one is going to spoon feed you the info because there is SO MUCH INFORMATION on the topic and you're really going to need to decide yourself what is the best way to go. Availabililty, your fabrication skills, budget, etc, etc all need to be taken into consideration.
