Hi! I own a 1996 V6 Nissan Cima right hand drive. I was wondering how similar is it to a 1997 infiniti Q45 so I know if i can order 97 infiniti Q45 car parts for my Nissan Cima.

I would think some interior parts might work, suspension parts and chassis parts would work but most others would be different. Engine obviously would be completely different...was that V6 a standard Nissan V6 from the era, if so you could maybe order I35 parts although that is a transverse mounted engine. Is it a 3.0 or 3.5 liter?

Hi! it's a 3.0 liter right hand drive. i successfully bought brakes that fit my car that is originally for a 97 infiniti Q45- So I'm guess you're right in saying that parts like suspension and chassis would be identical, but not so much the engine. what about the sensors on the engine? no? lol. I ask myself everyday why in the hell did I buy a nissan cima that's not available in any other country ... then I get in the car and drive and go "oh yea". bitter love hate relationship.

Suspension and body parts will most likely work and be identical. Any engine related parts for the USDM Q45 won't work as your cima is equipped with the VQ30DET

I hear you, driving my 97' Q45 with my cousin today to get the coilovers he was asking how old the car was and didn't really believe me. While it was not well received by the auto press back in the day is a panned by 1st geners on this board, this was one hell of a solid car and has survived well.
