Great event! For you who skipped this year and/or wussed out you really missed a great time! This year we hit the Dragon and Skyway with NO Police around all day. Was awesome. Shenanigans after some mash was hilarious.

Awesome time. What a great group of NICO folks... Mike (RED_DET) and his spectacular spouse Gidget know how to throw an event!

This HAS to be on your radar for next year, guys. Mark your calendar, start coordinating to split a cabin, and get your butts out to NC for an amazing weekend of backwoods canyon-carving, delicious food, great friends, and SHENANIGANS!

We'll throw some more pics in tomorrow, so stay tuned!

Wow, what a beautiful road. Looks smooth too. I need to make it down there. Was the Skyline with NJ tags Kevin's? Niiiice. I'll bet Gord's ol' Z sounded intoxicating doing that run. :dblthumb:

See the car that drove from Wisconsin? Or the group that drove down from NJ? :poke:

CA people always seem to think that every state's freeways suck as bad as theirs do. Once you get out of CA, life on the road is beautiful (and FAST). :)

Do it so I am not the only one there with a GM product! Also, you should mount the GOPRO on the right side of your car next time so it doesn't look straddling the white line. :)

I have some video showing your traction control engaging. Seemed you had a hell of a time getting it all turned off..... you can just catch it cutting in when Greg takes off in my coupe (and can hear mine kick in too).

Driving Matt's '08 G37 Coupe (with mods) and Scott's Maxima SE 6MT (with mods) was an awesome experience. Two very different cars, both VERY capable canyon-carvers, that really perform well in that environment.

Makes me want to haul our Z or the Roadster (or my DD) out there next year!

I know. I lived in Texas 2 years and loved the 80mph speed limit, got where I needed go faster :)
CA 65mph sucks :barf:

Maybe next year I will go.

Yeah, that was a on setting 5 which is suppose to be full race mode. Apparently it still leaves some things on to keep it from getting too far out on a track. I'll just have to remember to turn everything off before doing something like that next time.

Video deleted because apparently I had a song playing on the radio that YouTube tagged as copyrighted being the wonderfully crappy site that it is. I'll upload it again at a later date when I can tell YouTube to shove it.
