Hey Guys, My name is Zach and I am new to the Nissan game. I have been given the opportunity to take this car from my dad because he is leaving the country. I had never seen one before, nor did I know what was under the hood, until I test drove it last night. I want it. Previously I have had 2 Acura Integras, currently a very nice GSR, but this Infiniti has captured me.

In the next couple weeks the car will be signed over to me. My dad has had it for about 4 months, and before that it was owned by an old Chinese lady since it was bought new. I have all the maintenance paperwork since then, mostly from the dealership.

My first plans are obviously more maintenance to insure the car is in perfect working order, oil change, transmission fluid change, differential fluid change, spark plugs and any other things that come to mind.
Then it is on to some wheels which I am thinking either 17, 18 or 19", what works best?

dont forget brake fluid flush (dot 3 only--synth preferred), power steering fluid, and TCS (since yours is a 't') fluid.
coolant---no chemical flush, lots and lots of water, remove drain plug from block, back near starter. preferred is to go with full OAT 40/60 ratio (yes, that is correct) mix; distilled water only. hOAT if(f) you have an aftermarket brass radiator. need to angle car, or use special funnel to properly burp the system.
only use the factory PFR-5G11 plugs be very careful when you disconnect the harness from the coil packs. those harnesses are no longer avail, would need to be custom built.

A little trivia for you... a certain '95 Q45t (Ivory Pearl Quartz), identical to yours, is the reason this forum exists. Long story - but it's a cool one.

Great car - temperamental, but very rewarding if maintained properly. There's more G50 Q45 info in this forum than anywhere else on the web, so spend a lot of time reading and asking questions.

You can also search JUST this forum by using the search bar on the upper left of the forum column.

Welcome home!
